Abdul, our friendly driver, took us for five days to the desert dunes of Erg Chebbi through the Atlas Mountains and onto the (gorgeous) gorges in Tinerhir and finally Ouarzazate. We're back in Marrakech now waiting to grab a bus to take us to Essaouira by the coast for our last few days in Morocco. The desert was hot (yeah I know) but incredible; I like riding camels more than I thought I would. China ate a rotten melon so we're hoping for digestive recovery before we enter European civilization ('Enshallah' - God willing) and some good Czech beer!

Great adventure! Awesome camels! The two of you sound and look terrific! Between the smiles, the headgear and your "new" language skills, there may be a new professional opportunity in the making. What do you think about "Chinathan Tours" LLP?
ReplyDeleteI sense a hot shower in your Prague future.
Hugs and safe travels. lee
"Digestive recovery." We ALL know what that means...

I may now refer to you as "Lawrence of Arabia". How funny. Keep smiling and truckin' -- and sending those pics. Love & miss
